3b: Understanding and engaging with policies and standards

A second legislative area in education technology that I have worked closely on is in the area of privacy and data sovereignty. For 2 years, I lead the privacy working group at BCcampus, a multi-institutional working group that was tasked with staying abreast of provincial privacy legislation and the implications of the legislation on education technology use in BC institutions.
