Throughout the course of my career, I have been committed to communicating my own understanding, observations, experiments, and findings about education technology as openly and transparently as possible which makes my work available regionally, nationally and internationally. My primary communication conduit has always been my blog. However, i also am active on a number of other platforms which I use to connect, communicate and disseminate information, including Twitter, Slideshare, YouTube. I am also involved with numerous communities and participate on a regular basis with our regional ETUG community (Slack) and the openETC (Mattermost).
I have also authored or co-authored a number of reports on education technology and open education including leading the 2018-19 ETUG Community Surveyopen reports
In terms of collaborating, and internationally led, developed and participated in numerous communities, networks, committees, working groups and planning groups. This has involved working closely with diverse groups of stakeholders within higher education including students, instructors, researchers, policymakers, government leaders, senior administrators, education technology practitioners and many others.
For this section, I would like to concentrate on two specific groups I have worked with over the years; the British Columbia Education Technology User Group (ETUG), and the Open EdTech Collaborative (OpenETC).
